Taylor, Sir Geoffrey Ingram

(7 mar. 1886, Londres, Inglaterra–27 jun. 1975, Cambridge).

Físico británico. Enseñó en la Universidad de Cambridge desde 1911 hasta 1952. Hizo descubrimientos importantes en mecánica de fluidos, como asimismo contribuciones significativas a la teoría del esfuerzo elastoestático y de los campos de desplazamiento creados por sólidos dislocados, a la teoría cuántica de la radiación y a la interferencia y difracción de los fotones.
